Indica or Sativa?

The age-old question again has been asked: Which high is better; Indica or Sativa? We don’t have an answer but I do have a preference. I think Indica plants tend to yield more, have a faster grow rate in general, and tend to have some of the terpenes that I prefer, that create deep purples and sweet natural smells. A lot of people tend to give me the same response, “when I [get high] using Indica plants, I tend to get couch-locked;” to which I say - phooey! I think it’s more a matter of willpower to overcome the natural urge to want to be couch-locked. I’m not saying necessarily one can be entirely immune in such response, I just think that it’s less of an obstacle than most people make it out to be. I guess it’s also part of the inhibited standards some get when they're inebriated in general, whether its hemp or alcohol. I just think it’s easier to hold oneself to a higher standard when prepared whilst consuming, and truly don’t see myself couch-locked while consuming indicas. Sativas make me spacey. I’m already a spacey person in general, but over time I’ve come to realize certain parts, so I take notes here and there, as well interact more with smaller things to ensure I’ve made mental notes. When I’m on Sativa, all of these methods I have aren’t nearly as effective as they normally are. Whether it’s inebriation affecting my standards, or part of the Sativa high, it just really lends me to forgetting where my keys, wallet, and phone are.

End of the day, consume what you’d like. It’s part of the experience! I always live by the motto: “[Consume] with friends, and enjoy yourself, if you aren’t doing that, what’s the point?” Happy New Year!
